Students
All students will be given a copy of the School Public Accountability Report (SPAR) during 7th period Thursday, 11/13. Please take this report home to your parents. This is a required report as part of School improvement.

The 1st 9 weeks ended on Wednesday , October 15th

Volleyball
The 2008 Volleyball Banquet has been moved to Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00 p.m. The price for a plate is $11.00. That includes a steak, baked potato, salad, dessert, and sweet tea. Senior will be provided with their meal for free, but all other players and families need to pay Coach Whiddon no later than Dec. 12th. If you have any questions see Coach Whiddon

Now is the time to begin applying to the college(s) you hope to attend upon graduating from CHS. Remember to go online to check admission requirements and deadlines for those you are interested in (some deadlines are less than a month away!). Please see Mrs. Speers in guidance if you need assistance.

 

Campus Beauties
If you feel you are one of the CHS Beauties then go to the Office and grab an application for Campus Beauties. The fee is $30 and the pageant will be on December 1st. All applications MUST be turned in by November 24th
 

 

B.E.S.T. Robotics Competition

Congratulations to the students that participated in the B.E.S.T. Robotics competition this weekend. YOU ROCK!
We came in 12th place at this regional competition. Please give the kids a pat on the back...they were great.

 Seniors- Reserve your Sr. Page in the 2008-2009 yearbook now for $25.  A full page is $100 and a half page is $60.  See Mrs. Johnston in the Ag. Bldg or any yearbook class member.

FFA

Students enrolled in Ag. classes this year or last year can join FFA. Dues are $20. See Mrs. Johnston in the Ag. Bldg.
  

 

If your child is planning on trying out for sports, they must have a sports physical completed by a physician before they attend any practices.  You must use an FHSAA form, which can be picked up at the front office.
